I have been building and restoring stringed instruments since the 1970’s. My guitars combine traditional patterns and materials with contemporary features and ideas. Playability and twang are always the bottom line for set-ups, restorations, and new instruments.
Cautious refinements to time-honored construction yield instruments lighter in weight, with superior tone, and enhanced survivability. I frequently incorporate domestic and locally harvested materials which make my instruments unique. My custom instruments reflect the personalities of their owners.
